Tone Guitar Tuner is a very helpful program for guitar players that gives you the facility to tune up your electric or acoustic guitar directly by using your computer. You just need to plug your guitar cord into the microphone jack of your PC. Also you can plug in the amplifier to which your guitar is connected. The tuner automatically detects the string that is being played and shows its note and frequency. You may need to make adjustments to make the note fit in the red square shown in the main window. You can also adjust the accuracy of the tuner from 0.01% to 10%. The program includes the window that shows time and frequency graphs of the guitar signal.
A sound card with a microphone or audio input jack is required - boost setting must be activated and it may require the use of a 3.5 mm adaptor. For acoustic guitars a microphone connected to the microphone jack is also required. The trial version allows you to test the compatibility of the program with your sound card and computer. The program is compatible with Win 2000 and XP.
